Appointments and Scheduling

Calendar iconYou deserve exclusive, personalized time with Dr. Halabo and our staff. That's why we schedule one patient per appointment and we don’t overbook. We strive to run on time so you won’t be kept waiting, and we ask you to arrive for your appointments on time as well. We understand you are busy, and your time is valuable to us. Dr. Halabo prides himself on keeping to his schedule and only deviates from it in the event of dental emergencies. Once we have decided on a treatment plan and financial arrangements, we will do everything we can to proceed with your treatment on a schedule that works for you. To best accommodate your needs, we work with you to schedule any routine or follow-up visits while you are still in our office. Our staff will also confirm your next visit by phone, text or email at least two business days in advance of your scheduled appointment.

Treatment Costs

Our goal is to help remove financial barriers so our patients can receive the dental treatment they need and desire. Prior to scheduling any treatment, we are happy to provide patients with an estimate of costs. Many patients have some type of dental insurance. At your first visit, we will ask for current insurance information. We may ask you to confirm this information at subsequent visits, so we can remain up-to-date and fully informed to serve you. Insured patients will receive cost estimates broken down by insured and uninsured costs. We ask that you pay uninsured costs the day services are rendered.

Dental Insurance

We accept most dental insurance. For patients covered by insurance, we will accept assignment of benefits. This means that you must sign the portion of your insurance that “assigns” payment to our office. Most dental insurance plans do not cover 100% of the cost of your treatment. It is because of this, and the extreme delay in receiving payment from insurance companies, that you are asked to pay your deductible and your portion of charges at the time services are rendered. All estimates are based on information provided to us by your insurance and are not a guarantee of payment. Only after a claim is submitted and reviewed by your insurance company can final payment be determined. As a courtesy to you, we file claim forms electronically, provide postage for special claims, and track the claims as an obligation to you. Other Payment Options

Patients are asked to pay for services as they are provided. This minimizes bookkeeping costs and allows us to pass these savings on to our patients. We accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover Card and Debit Cards. We also offer flexible financing options for those who qualify. We understand that monthly payments can help patients fit the costs of dental treatment into their budgets and we want you to be able to afford the dental care you need.
